
James Bridle
James Bridle (1980) is a British artist and author, known as the originator of the term "New Aesthetic." His work explores how the digital, networked world extends into the tangible world, investigating Western security apparatuses (e.g., drones) and the deportation of asylum seekers. His writings have been published in numerous publications, including WIRED, Icon, Domus, Cabinet Magazine, The Atlantic, and more. He has a regular column in The Guardian. He lives in Athens.
