Penny CHatzieystratiou - Michelinaki

Penny Chatzievstratiou Michelaki is married to Mathios Michelakis and is a mother of two. She completed her postgraduate studies and holds a PhD in Architectural Lighting (PhD in Light & Lighting) from University College London. Additionally, she studied Economics and earned a master's degree in Human Resource Management. She has written and presented papers at international lighting conferences and universities. She has also worked in the field of professional lighting. Meanwhile, she has created her own line of personalized gifts, both with light and without. Furthermore, she has participated in groups focused on human relationships, primarily concentrating on parent-child relationships. Inspired by her children, she has designed a series of light workshops for children, which she presents in kindergartens, daycare centers, schools, activity centers, and museums. She organizes workshops for non-profit organizations as part of her volunteer work and collaborates with various entities where she lectures on the topic of lighting. Her first book encompasses her knowledge and experience, as well as elements of her personal quest for a life "with light."
