Sophie Blackall

Sophie Blackall hails from Australia and is a two-time Caldecott Medal winner for her illustrations. She spends half of her time in Brooklyn, New York, and the other half on planes, boats, and trains, trying to meet as many people and places as possible. During her travels around the world, she has met thousands of children, and with the support of UNICEF and Save the Children, Sophie Blackall has created an exquisite book about our planet.
