CHristos S. Samouilidis
Christos Samouilidis was born in 1927 in Kilkis. In 1946, he completed high school and entered the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Thessaloniki. He graduated in 1952 and worked as a teacher at the Gymnasium of Kassandra, Chalkidiki, from 1953 to 1954. In 1955, he was hired by the Center for Asia Minor Studies, where he worked until 1970. During his fifteen years of service, he collected 14,000 pages of folklore and historical material from the testimonies of refugees for the foundation of Mrs. Merlier. From 1970 to 1978, he worked as a philologist at the Moraitis School. In 1980, he received his Ph.D. from the University of Ioannina. His published works to date include: Poetry: 1.
