Nikos Leventis

Nikos Leventis was born in 1947 and grew up in Piraeus. He lived for many years in France and America before settling permanently in Athens. For the past thirty years, he has been involved in literature: poetry, critical essays, and translations. He has collaborated with various magazines and published independently: "Komidi" (a comprehensive collection of poems from 1971-1987), published by Oi Ekdoseis ton Filon in 1987; "Astide," poems, Planodion 1994; and "Pierre Jean Jouve," Poetry, introduction and translation, Armos 1997. "The Shaded Source" is his first autobiographical prose work.
