THanasis Niarchos

Thanasis Niarchos was born in Volos. He studied Political Science and French Philology. He has published the following books: Poetry: "Twenty-Four Night Songs" (1970) and "Eros Love" (1979). Essays: "Human Anxiety" (1973), "Head-On" (1980), "Invisible Time" (1988), "Diary of a Protest" (1999), "Love for Others" (1999), "As If Carried by a Violent Gust" (1999), "For Angelos Terzakis" (2002). Conversations with representatives of Greek literature titled "Expert Opinion of the Era" (1976) and "My Childhood Years" (2003). Since 1981, he has been co-publishing the literary magazine "The Word" with Antonis Fostieris. He is the editor of the series "Thought, Time, and Creators" by Kastaniotis Editions, which features texts by significant creators of modern Greek culture. He has translated works by Kafka, Miller, Luther King, Cocteau, among others. He is also a contributor to the newspaper "Ta Nea."
