David Alderton

David Alderton is an international authority on pets and their care. His books have been translated into 27 languages worldwide. David's interest in chinchillas began 25 years ago when he first saw a pair of them in a local store. Since then, he has gained significant knowledge and experience regarding their behavior and needs. This led him to participate in training programs designed for pet store staff, focusing on the proper care of chinchillas and other small domestic animals. He has numerous publications in magazines and regularly hosts shows on animals and natural history on television and radio. He lives near Brighton in Southern England.
