Matt Ridley

Matt Ridley, a scientist, journalist, and distinguished columnist on biological science topics, is a visiting professor at the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in New York. He served as the chairman of the non-profit science communication center, the International Centre for Life, based in Newcastle, England, for seven years. He has authored six books for the general public, which have been translated into twenty-six languages and nominated for six literary awards. He is married to neuroscience professor Anya Hurlbert.
