Nikitas I. Parisis

Nikitas Parisis (August 1, 1935) was born in Skiathos and studied Philology at the University of Athens. For many years, he worked as a teacher in private education. He published studies, book reviews, and essays in magazines and newspapers. He contributed to the collective works "Interwar and Postwar Literature" by Sokolis Publications. He was a member of the Society of Authors. His works include: "Critical Essays" (Domos, 1987), "Studies - Readings" (Patakis, 1992), "Seven Studies on Odysseas Elytis" (ta tramakia, Thessaloniki, 1997), "Dictionary of Literary Terms" (OEDB, 2000), "Alexandros Papadiamantis. Three Short Stories. Searching for Narrative Logic" (Metaichmio, 2001, 2nd edition 2002), "C. P. Cavafy, An Essay on Interpretative Reading" (Metaichmio, 2003), "The Red Chickpeas" (short stories, Metaichmio, 2008), "It Will Be Night and August" (short stories, Domos, 2010).
