
CHristoforos Kasdaglis
Christoforos Kasdaglis was born in 1958. He had not planned to get involved with books or journalism. He studied economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business and worked for a decade at the National Bank of Greece. His late involvement with the mechanisms of military service in 1986 radically changed his career path. Under the pseudonym Christos Kastanas, he published his military service memoir titled "I'm Discharged and Going Crazy," which marked his career change. He has written the books "I'm Discharged and Going Crazy" (1988), "Dangerous Invention" (1991), "The Left and the Big Bad Wolf: The Frustration of a Leftist" (2009), "Split!" (2009), and "The Frustration of a Panathinaikos Fan" (2010). He has worked in newspapers, magazines, radio, and the internet. He is a founding member of the journalistic collective blogal.gr. He studied Economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business. He is married with two children. He lives in Athens, escapes to Trikala Korinthias, and dreams of Kythera and the Appalachian Mountains.
