Mario Puzo
Mario Puzo was an Italian-American author and screenwriter, famous for his Mafia novels, most notably "The Godfather" (1969), which was adapted into a film by Francis Ford Coppola. Puzo won the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay in 1972 and 1974.
