
Eleni Gika
Eleni Gkika was born in 1959 in Koropi. A journalist and literary critic for "Anti," "Eikones," "Ethnos," and "Ethnos tis Kyriakis" since 1983, she has engaged in writing novels, short stories, poetry, and fairy tales, participated in collective publications, and edited books and series. She has published thirty-three books: fifteen novels, eleven poetry collections, two short story collections, one volume of interviews, and four fairy tales. Her book "The Woman of the Northern Kitchen" (Kalendis Publications) was nominated for the Readers' Award in 2012. Her articles, interviews, and reviews have been published in numerous magazines ["Periplous," "Diavazo," "Nea Efthyni," "diastixo," "diavasame," "Literature," etc.]. She is part of the editorial team of the online magazine Fractal.
