
Louis Pergaud
French author (Belmont, 1882 - Marcheville-en-Woevre, La Meuse, 1915), who fell in battle during World War I. His most well-known works are "De Goupil à Margot" (translated into Greek as "Αλεπού στο παζάρι"), which won the Goncourt Prize in 1910, and "La Guerre des boutons" (translated into Greek as "Ο πόλεμος των κουμπιών"), published in 1912.
