Martin Heidegger

Martin Heidegger (1889-1976) is considered one of the leading philosophers of the 20th century, primarily due to his work "Being and Time" (1927). He served as a professor at the University of Marburg (1923-1928) and the University of Freiburg (1928-1952). He was the most significant student of the founder of phenomenology, Edmund Husserl. His lectures began to be published in 1975 and now number sixty volumes. Today, no interpretative approach to the history of philosophy (Presocratics, Kant, Nietzsche, Hegel) is complete without considering Heidegger's positions.
