Giannis Kalioris

Giannis Kalioris (the pen name of Giannis Kaleodis) was born in 1939 in Athens, where he studied law. During that period, his real focus was his participation in the editorial board of the magazine "Panspoudastiki" from 1961 to 1963 and his related articles. He later studied cultural sociology in Paris, where he taught at the Faculty of Philosophy of the 8th University (formerly Vincennes) from 1970 to 2005. He has published essays and studies on literature, the Modern Greek language, social issues, and politics.
