Eleni Roufani

Eleni Roufani was born in 1959 in Athens. She studied in Greece and the United States, returning in 1985 with a master's degree in sociology. She worked as a lecturer at colleges in Athens and as a copywriter for advertising agencies. She is married and a mother of two. She has translated texts and short stories from English for the magazine "Poliorkia" in 1986 and Ernest Hemingway's "A Farewell to Arms," published by Erato in 1989. In 1993, her first novel "The Gift of Fear" was published by Medusa, followed by "Come and Play..." by Kastaniotis in 1999, and "Kamal's Journey" in 2007 by Modern Times. In December 2008, she released the children's book "Hide and Seek in Colors," published by Kedros, for which she also did the illustrations.
