Pantelis Voutouris

Pantelis Voutouris was born in Cyprus in 1956. He studied philology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he also completed his doctoral dissertation. He taught Modern Greek Philology at the School of Philosophy of the University of Crete (1991-1993). Since 1993, he has been teaching Modern Greek Philology at the School of Philosophy of the University of Cyprus. He has published critical articles and studies on Modern Greek literature. In 1995, his book "As in a Mirror... Proposals and Hypotheses for 19th Century Greek Prose" (Nefeli Publications) was released, followed by the books: "The Cohesion of the Landscape: Introduction to the Poetics of Andreas Embirikos" (1997), "My Beloved Zarathustra. Palamas - Nietzsche" (2006), as well as the collective volume "Hellenism in the 19th Century: Ideological and Aesthetic Pursuits" (2006), edited by Pantelis Voutouris and Giorgos Georgis.
