Marina Alexandrou

Marina Alexandrou was born in Athens in 1949. Shortly after getting married, she and Yiannis Alexandrou started a technical company where they continue to work together to this day. Marina studied interior design at Vakalo Art & Design College in Athens and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. She has been working in the public relations department of their company for twenty-six years. She speaks French and Italian. She was nominated for the "Woman of the Year 2008" award by "Life & Style" magazine. A few years ago, she collaborated with her husband in writing books, forming a successful writing duo. The surname Alexandrou is a pseudonym for the long-standing writing partnership. Since 1996, when their first novel, "The Secret of the Desert," was published, they have enjoyed great success.
