Dimitris Pistikos

Dimitris Pistikos was born in Panaitolio, Aetolia, in February 1948. He studied Law and Political Science in Athens and currently resides in Piraeus, where he practices law. His first publication was as a student in the magazine "Dialectic" of Agrinio. In 1991, he published the poetry collection "Reading," followed by the poetic composition "Heliopaedia" in 1992, which earned him the First Poetry Prize from the Society of Greek Writers (Aronis Prize). In 1997, he released the poetic composition "The Ninth Crusade," published by Dodoni. He has collaborated with literary magazines, contributing poems and essays. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Municipal and Regional Theatre of Agrinio, where he also served as President of its Artistic Committee. His poems have been included in anthologies. In 1996, he became a member of the Society of Greek Writers.
