
Xenofon Kontiadis
Xenophon Contiades was born in 1967 in Heidelberg. He studied law in Athens and Munich. He taught at the Democritus University of Thrace from 1998 and at the University of the Peloponnese from 2004, where he was appointed Professor in 2006 and Dean of the School of Social and Political Sciences in 2010. Since 2016, he has been a Professor of Public Law at Panteion University. He has served as President of the Centre for European Constitutional Law - Themistocles and Dimitris Tsatsos Foundation since 2006. He is a member of the Scientific Council of the Institute for European Constitutional Sciences (Germany) and Coordinator of the Research Group "Constitution-Making and Constitutional Change" of the International Association of Constitutional Law. He is a regular columnist in the daily press. Since 1992, he has been practicing law in the fields of administrative law and social security law. In the September 2015 elections, he was a candidate on the State List of the Democratic Coalition.
