THomas Sliomis

Thomas Sliomis was born in Thessaloniki. He studied piano, harmony, and composition, completing his studies in the late 1970s in Athens. He has been involved in composing contemporary music, as well as exploring forms of jazz and improvised music. His works have been presented on radio, at festivals, and in independent concerts in Greece and abroad. He has composed music for theater, cinema, dance, and multimedia projects. He has also recorded two solo albums (Phonorama, Cantos) and has contributed his works to other projects. He has published articles in magazines ("Ήχος", "Διαβάζω", "Συν και Πλην", among others) and is the editor of "Μουσικοί" - a magazine focused on music theory and thought. In 1993, his collection of essays "The Mirrors of Imagination" was published by Alexandria Editions. "The Invisible Line" is his first novel.
