Nikos Faroupos

Nikos Faroupos was born in Athens. He studied social psychology in Austria and film directing at the Eugenia Hatzi School of Cinema. Initially, he worked as an assistant director in advertising and feature films. Since 1989, he has been professionally involved in screenwriting and has collaborated on writing several television series as well as film scripts. In 1994, he received funding from the European Script Fund for six television films under the general title "Stories from the Past." With his script "The Executioner," he participated in the European Script Fund's script seminars and explored production opportunities in the Media program (1995). He has published novels, short stories, and studies.
