Aris Sfakianakis

Aris Sfakianakis was born in 1958 in Heraklion, Crete. He studied law in Athens. His first book of short stories, "When It Rains and He Wears College Shoes," was published in 1981 by Kedros Publications. His second book, "The Strange Habits of the Morfi Family," was released by the same publisher in 1984, followed by his third book, "The Terror of the Void," in 1990, and his fourth book, "The Chinese Restaurant Syndrome," in 1993. In 1998, his fifth book, titled "You Didn't Know... You Didn't Ask!" was published. This novel was the first in a trilogy that continued with "Babysitting." Subsequent books include "The Persian Kiss" (2004), "Metropolises, Stories, Paradises" (Ellinika Grammata, 2006), "Loneliness Doesn't Suit Me" (2008), and "Don't Get Involved" (2011). He continued with "Married Women" (2013) and "Exodus" (2016). He has also worked in translation and screenwriting.
