Tina Krontiri

Tina (Stamatia) Krontiri received her bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and her Ph.D. from the University of Sussex in England. Since 1989, she has been teaching theater and Renaissance literature in the Department of English Literature at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where she is currently an associate professor. She has published various articles and books in her field, including "Oppositional Voices" (London, Routledge, 1992), "Shakespeare, the Renaissance, and Us" (Thessaloniki, University Studio Press, 2002), and (editor) "The Adaptability of Shakespeare" (Athens, Ergo, 2005).
