
Katerina Mouriki
Born in Athens in 1951, she studied Chemistry, Statistics, and Economics. She pursued amateur theater and attended Acting classes with the Art Group "Parodos" led by Lakis Kouretzis. She worked at the Agricultural University of Athens for 17 years as a Scientific and Technical Staff member in the departments of General Chemistry and Ecology. Her literary debut came in 1984 with her work "Little Riri Returns," which received an accolade from the Women's Literary Society. She collaborated with Greek Radio, Television, and the Ministry of Education. From 1992, she was the producer of the Literary Radio show "Children's Galaxy," broadcasted on "Diavlos 10." She also collaborated with the local radio station of Elefsina on a show she curated and presented with students, teachers, and writers, titled "Children's Voices." Additionally, her works have been included in short story collections by the Women's Literary Society, and she is a member of the Circle of the Greek Children's Book.
