Valerie Wilding loves writing for children because it makes her happy, and she can't imagine herself doing any other job. She worked for many years as a teacher and later as a school librarian, but in the end, writing won her over. She has written more than a hundred books on various subjects, and she enjoys adding a touch of humor to everything she does.
