Foteini Mylona
Fotini Mylona Raidi was born in Mesolongi. At some point in her youth, she left, believing it was for good. However, she quickly realized that there was no better place for her to make her return, so she went back. She chose to become a teacher to be close to children. They helped her maintain her truth and emotions in their purest form.
Her first books were for them, mostly aimed at children in the first three grades of primary school: "I Am Alice," "Mario and His Little Fox," (a series of six books, each with a different title), "I Like to Travel," "The Magic Button."
Two of these have been recognized in competitions. One by the Circle of Greek Children's Books and the other by the Women's Literary Society.
Her short stories have also been selected for collections: "I Wish I Could Tell You So Much, Dad!" and "Stories Written by Life."
With her two young adult novels, "New Moon" and "Good Morning, Sea!", she attempted to accompany the children she loved so much on their challenging journey to adulthood.
"Return" is her first novel for adults.
