
THanasis Lalas
Thanasis Lalas was born and raised in Athens. He studied at the Department of Economics at the Law School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, played football, and encountered his destiny early on. At a very young age, he had the opportunity to live alongside Stratis Tsirkas, a great Greek author, and to be guided in poetry by Manolis Anagnostakis, Nikos Karouzos, and Miltos Sachtouris. At the age of 23, he met Andy Warhol by chance, and this meeting changed the course of his life.
He began conducting interviews and seeking meetings with important Greek artists and intellectuals, making these encounters part of his daily life. To date, he has published 3,500 interviews with unique personalities from around the world. He has worked as a journalist for major Greek magazines and newspapers and has distinguished himself as a creator of new magazines, having developed 33 new concepts for magazines. Today, he is creatively active in painting and sculpture and continues to write selectively.
