Pantelis Kaliotsos

Pantelis Kaliotsos was born in 1925 in Athens. He spent his early years there, studying while taking on various jobs: laborer, plumber, marble worker, street vendor, clerk, etc. Later, he left the city intending to become a monk, but he only managed to do so for two years. He began writing in 1943, believing in literature and art in general not as a means of promotion and establishment but simply as a remedy for the soul. Thus, he continued to write for twenty-two years without publishing anything or releasing a book. He made his literary debut in 1964 with the novel "The Middle Wall," which, as a manuscript, was published in serial form in the magazine "Tachydromos." Later, he worked in radio and television, primarily in children's programs. His works include: "Here a Fly Pooped," short story (1958).
