
Vagelis Iliopoulos
Vangelis Iliopoulos was born in Athens in 1964. He studied education and theology. Since 1984, he has been working in primary education. In 1995, he published his first children's literature book, "The Story of the Wrinkled Sock." In 1997, "Trigona Psaroulis" was released, which soon became famous and beloved by both children and adults. Since then, many of his books have been published, some of which have been awarded by the Circle of the Greek Children's Book, the Women's Literary Society, the magazine "Diavazo," etc. His books are also available abroad, and he often meets his readers at schools and book festivals in Greece and internationally. He served as the president of the Board of Directors of the Circle of the Greek Children's Book (the Greek section of IBBY) for the term 2008-2010.
