Raymond Smullyan
Raymond Smullyan, widely recognized as a mathematician and logician, studied at the University of Chicago and Princeton University. He is an emeritus professor of mathematics at the State University of New York, teaching mathematics at Lehman College and logic at the Graduate Center of the university, and a professor of philosophy at Indiana University. He is a prolific author, having written five highly esteemed monographs on mathematical logic, five books of logic puzzles/riddles, two books with unique chess logic problems, and three on his philosophical explorations. In Greece, he became known for his extremely popular books "The Lady or the Tiger?" and "Satan, Cantor, and Infinity." He is also a magician with professional skills, a concert-level pianist, and an amateur astronomer.
