Aliki Nikiforou

Aliki Nikiforou hails from Corfu. A graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Ioannina, she pursued postgraduate studies at the University of Paris I - Sorbonne. She worked in secondary education and then, for two decades, directed the Corfu Archives, accelerating their modernization and utilization. In 2007, she was elected Assistant Professor in the Department of Archives and Library Science at the Ionian University (management of cultural heritage documentation). Her writing includes articles and monographs on historical and archival content, as well as editorial work on publications related to the history of the Ionian Islands.
