Jim Cummins

Jim Cummins was born in Ireland and has been living in Canada since 1971. In Ireland, he completed his undergraduate studies in Psychology at the University of Dublin, and in 1974, he received his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Alberta in Canada. Since 1996, he has been a full professor at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto. Since the early 1980s, his works have been a classic reference for those involved in Bilingualism and Bilingual Education. Jim Cummins' body of work is particularly extensive. This edition includes his recent works. Since 1997, Jim Cummins has been collaborating scientifically with the Department of Primary Education at the University of the Aegean.
