Nikos A. Marantzidis

Nikos Marantzidis is an associate professor at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki and a visiting professor at Charles University in Prague and the University of Warsaw. His primary research interests include communism (political ideology, parties, and regimes), political and electoral behavior, and civil wars, with a focus on the Greek Civil War (1943-1949). Other books by him include: "The Little Moscows" (Papazisis, 1997), "Yasasin Millet - Long Live the Nation" (Crete University Press, 2001), "The Other Captains" (Estia, 2005), "Democratic Army of Greece 1946-1949" (Alexandria, 2010).
