Dimitra Anastasopoulou-Zacharaki

Dimitra Anastasopoulou-Zacharakis was born in Athens in November 1985. She studied Philosophy, Pedagogy, and Psychology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and attended numerous educational seminars and scientific conferences. In recent years, she has been working as an educator in child protection and care facilities, and she has also worked with children with special educational needs.She has always written poems and short stories.She has contributed articles to magazines and blogs (including the online magazine MAXMAG in the interviews and books section, and the magazine and blog Familives), and she maintains a personal Facebook page-blog with over 12,000 members. In March 2022, she participated in the “FESTIVAL: CELEBRATION OF POETRY 2022” organized by Kefalos Publications, and her poem “Echo of War” was included in the 2022 Poetry Album.In April 2022, her short story “The Story of the Blue Notebook” was recognized in the ninth Panhellenic and Pancyprian Short Story Competition of EODnP and published in a volume by “O Topos Mou” Publications. In May 2022, her short story “Human Relationships” was selected in the competition of the book-loving group “The Book of the Company” in collaboration with Angelakis Publications and was published by Angelakis Publications.In June 2022, her poem “Rigoula or Revoula” won third prize in the International Competition organized by the Municipality of Thasos and Di.Keth. In July 2022, her poem “History Book” was recognized in the 4th Poetry – Prose Reflection Competition of the Greece-Cyprus Culture Association “For Manolis Anagnostakis” and was published by the Greece-Cyprus Culture Association in collaboration with Archytas Publications. “The Iron Bed” is her first crime novel and will be published in 2025 by DNK Project Publications.She aspires for her novels and fairy tales to become the beginning of an interactive game with her readers.
