
Konstantinos Loukopoulos (The Mythologist)
Konstantinos Loukopoulos was born in Athens and grew up in Nafpaktos. He studied at the Department of History and Archaeology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), where he also completed his postgraduate studies in Classical Archaeology. He is currently pursuing his doctoral dissertation, focusing on early ancient Greek art and mythology. Since February 2020, he has been the creator and driving force behind the project “The Mythologist,” which aims to communicate archaeology and mythology to a wide audience through audiovisual material, attracting tens of thousands of followers on online platforms and social networks. Offline, he organizes events and gives lectures on Greek antiquity and mythology in Greece and abroad, and also serves as a scientific advisor for projects with similar content. In November 2022, his first book, There’s a Myth for Everything, was published by KAKTOS Publications, followed in March 2024 by the children’s series Pocket Myths from the same publisher, featuring standalone mythological episodes for children.
