S. F. Williamson

H S.F. Williamson is fascinated by the way languages are born. For her, languages live, move, and breathe. As a child, she learned that knowing languages is equivalent to gaining access to ideas, traditions, and people she would otherwise have ignored. The Dragon Language is inspired by her work as a literary translator and by the fact that, no matter how well crafted a translation may be, part of the meaning is always lost. She holds a master’s degree in writing from Bath Spa University. She lives in France with her family and her two cats.
