Giorgos Eystathiou
George Efstathiou is a Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist, holding a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. He has collaborated with the Research and University Institute of Mental Health as a national representative on research topics (Biomed: psychoedutraining) and works with the Laboratory of Experimental Pedagogy at the University of Athens as the head of research methodology training seminars. He is responsible for the research sector of the Student Psychological Counseling Laboratory at the University of Athens and the Institute for Research and Behavioral Therapy. He has worked with the Rehabilitation and Recovery Center "Anaplasis" as a biofeedback therapist and with the Student Psychological Counseling Laboratory at the University of Athens, offering individual and group counseling. He practices privately as a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist. He has taught in the Psychology Program and the Postgraduate Clinical Psychology Program at the University of Athens. He is the coordinator of the Awareness Cycle in Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy and serves as an instructor and supervisor at the Institute for Research and Behavioral Therapy. His main scientific interests include psychotherapy for personality disorders and the provision of mental health services through electronic forms of communication. His scientific activities include publishing books, chapters in collective volumes, articles in scientific journals, university notes, and translations of foreign textbooks, as well as participation in conferences in Greece and abroad.
