THomas S. Stergiopoulos

Thomas Stergiopoulos was born in the village of Grava in Agioi Saranta in 1951. He studied medicine at the University of Tirana and has been residing and working in Greece as a pathologist since 1991. He has written poetry, prose, and folklore essays, and has translated works by Albanian and Greek authors into Greek and Albanian, respectively. His books published in Greece include: "Kardamyla, a Mast of Greece" - prose (1995), "The Unknown Romiosyne" - folklore essays (1997), "People at the Borders" - short stories (2004), and "Some Sing Beside Us" - an anthology of Albanian folk poetry (2007). Since 2007, he has been responsible for the "The Epirotes" series by Roés Publications.
