THanasis E. Markopoulos

Thanasis Markopoulos was born in 1951 in Kranidia, Kozani. He studied Ancient and Modern Greek Philology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he also completed his postgraduate and doctoral studies. His primary interests focus on poetry and literary criticism. His poems and critical essays on post-war Greek poetry and prose have been published in various newspapers and literary and philological magazines. He has published eight poetry collections, five essay collections, three studies, and one poetry anthology.
