
Eirini Togia
Irini Togia was born in Corfu. She lives in Athens with her husband, Kostas Togias, and their daughters, Gina and Bessy.
She began her culinary journey in 1979 with the opening of Ftelia in Mykonos, followed by Ftelia in Athens in 1985. Both restaurants operated simultaneously until 1992, after which only the Athens location remained.
In November 1992, as part of the European Capital of Culture in Madrid, she participated in the Pan-European Gastronomy Competition alongside representatives from twelve European countries, where all three of her dishes received awards. From 1993 to 1999, her restaurant was listed among the top ten restaurants in Athens by the magazine "Athinorama."
