
Manos Danezis
Manos Danezis was born in 1949. He is an Associate Professor of Astrophysics at the University of Athens, and his research interests include satellite ultraviolet spectroscopy, stellar atmospheres, binary and variable stars, and the History and Philosophy of Science, among others. He is a member of the International Astronomical Union (I.A.U), the Hellenic Astronomical Society (Hel.A.S.), the Union of Greek Physicists (U.G.P.), and the Hellenic Mathematical Society (H.M.S.). He has published over 190 original research papers in international astronomical journals and conference proceedings, hundreds of articles in the Greek daily press, and sixteen books related to Astrophysics and the History and Philosophy of Science. Additionally, he has presented 110 television programs on related topics on Greek television.
