CHristos Dalkos

Christos Dalkos was born in 1951 in Tropea (formerly Vervitsa), Arcadia, and currently resides in Aigaleo. He holds a degree from the School of Philosophy at the University of Athens and has been working in Secondary Public Education since 1978. He is married and has two children. He earned his doctorate from the Department of Communication, Media, and Culture at Panteion University, with a dissertation titled "Kalikantzaroi, Fairies, and Karagiozis: A Trilogy of the Adventures and Transformations of the Scapegoat." His interests include language studies, particularly the so-called "pre"-Greek and its relationship with modern Greek, as well as the "endocomparative" exploration of language. He has participated in various conferences with presentations, published articles on language, literature, and education, released poetry and short stories, engaged in teaching language through music, and set ancient and modern Greek poetry to music.
