Konstantinos A. Dimadis

K. A. Dimadis taught at the University of Amsterdam (1980-1992) and the University of Groningen (1992-1996). Since 1996, he has been a professor of Modern Greek Studies at the Freie Universität Berlin and an honorary professor at the Institute of Classical, Byzantine, and Modern Greek Studies at the University of Tbilisi. Additionally, since 1985, he has been directing the International Program of Greek Language, History, and Culture at the Institute for Balkan Studies in Thessaloniki. His work primarily focuses on the relationship between art and power, as well as the influence of politics on literature, especially during periods of dictatorships and wars.
