
Larry Gonick
Larry Gonick is a professional cartoonist and author of numerous comic books. He studied mathematics at Harvard University, where he earned a Ph.D. In 1994 and 1995, he received a fellowship to study science journalism at MIT. In 2000, he was a journalism fellow and special researcher at the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute at the University of Berkeley. His series "The Cartoon History of the Universe" was ranked by the American press as one of the 100 best comic books of the 20th century.
