THeodoros P. Lianos

Theodoros P. Lianos was born in Messini. He studied economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business (formerly known as ASOEE) and at the State University of North Carolina, USA. He is an emeritus professor at the Athens University of Economics and Business, where he served as rector from 1985 to 1988. He has taught at the University of California, Davis, and other universities in the United States. He is a member of the academic staff at the Hellenic Open University. He has authored textbooks, scientific monographs, and numerous scholarly articles in international journals. Additionally, he has written numerous articles for Greek newspapers, commenting on the economic, political, and social situation in the country. He has served as president of the Center for Planning and Economic Research, president of DIKATSA, and president of Olympic Airways. He is the editor of the "South-Eastern Europe Journal of Economics."
