Eirini Dermitzaki

Irini Dermitzaki was born in 1982 in Sitia. She studied Theatre in Greece and Film in London. In 2018, she completed her postgraduate studies in Creative Writing in England. Her works "Ornithophobia" and "Angeleta and Ethelvina" (under the auspices of the UK Ministry of Culture) have been staged in London theatres. She has written scripts for short films and short stories that have been recognized in competitions and published by various publishers. She also contributed to the collective novel "The Collapse" published by Paraxenes Meres. In 2017, her first book "What I Don't Know Yet" was released by Anima Publications. In 2019, the novel "Born Loser" was published by Evmaros Publications. She has been teaching creative writing and working as a writing mentor since 2016.
