
Paul Davies
The internationally renowned physicist and cosmologist Paul Davies is currently a professor at Arizona State University. With his rare ability to make the cutting edge of theoretical physics pleasantly accessible, he has garnered a dedicated readership worldwide. In 1995, he was awarded the prestigious Templeton Prize for his work on the philosophical meaning of science, and more recently, he was honored with the Kelvin Medal from the British Institute of Physics. A prolific author, with over 20 books published globally, he chairs the committee for the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) program. The asteroid 19920G has been officially named Pauldavies in his honor.
