Maurice Godelier

Maurice Godelier (Cambrai, 1934), former Scientific Director of the Department of Human and Social Sciences at CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research), is the Director of Studies at EHESS (School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences). He has been awarded the international Alexander von Humboldt Prize for Social Sciences and the CNRS Gold Medal for Research.
