Panagiotis E. Petrakis
Panagiotis E. Petrakis was born in Crete in 1953. He is a Professor at the Department of Economics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he serves as the Director of the Development and International Economics Division of the Department of Economics at NKUA, as well as the Scientific Director of the Distance Learning Program at NKUA. He holds a degree in economics from the University of Athens, a master's degree from the University of Stirling, and a Ph.D. from the University of Athens. He served as the head of the Department of Economics at NKUA from 2005 to 2009. He is the author of numerous scientific articles and has a multitude of publications in recognized scientific journals.
